We're fussy about doing it right, and part of getting things done the right way is to protect the artists we're serving. No order, no matter how big or small, is produced without an IPR Form and if you've recorded cover songs, they need to be licensed. We're happy to help give you direction in this area and here are some links to help get you started.
IPR (CD or DVD) - This form is required for every CD, DVD or Blu-Ray master we duplicate or manufacture.
IPR (Vinyl) - This form is required for every Vinyl master we manufacture.
GRANT OF RIGHTS - This form is required if you are using a song that you have not written, is not public domain and is not licensed through a licensing agency (CMRRA) or publisher.
CMRRA - The largest mechanical licensing agency in Canada and your best source for licensing cover songs in domestically.
SODRAC - The primary Canadian mechanical licensing agency representing French language and Quebec artists.
HARRY FOX AGENCY (HFA) - If you can't find a song on CMRRA, look here next.
BMI - If you can't find a song on CMRRA or HFA, you might be able to find a publisher here and contact them directly.
PD INFO - Good resource for Public Domain and Royalty Free music.
LIMELIGHT - This is a great new resource for licensing cover songs in countries other than Canada.
